Ms. Caryn Rosen Adelman is active in many civic and Jewish organizations. She is the Vice President of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago and in the past held many other positions within the federation. She is also the Vice President of UIA since 2002; she served in the Council of Jewish Federations and is very much involved in the work of UJA, UJC, Otzma and other organizations. Among her civic duties, Caryn Adelman served as a Trustee in the Village of Winnetka; she served as President of the League of Women Voters and President of Winnetka Village PTA.
Ms. Adelman is the recipient of the Yonathan Netanyahu Award of the Friends of the IDF, she is the recipient of Wexner Heritage Foundation prize, she also received the Young Leadership Award from the Chicago Federation, the Outstanding Young Women of America award and is on the University of llinois Dean's List.
Caryn has a B.S. degree in Municipal Park Administration from the University of Illinois and a Master's degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota on Philanthropy and Development.
Caryn is a Committee member since 2001. Prior to that, she served as a Board Member.
