Amos Hermon is a member of the Board of the Pincus Fund and of the Joint Program. He previously chaired the World Executive of Betar and the Tagar student organization. He served as an aliyah emissary in South Africa for three years and has also lectured extensively abroad on behalf of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
He lives on Moshav Nordia where he has directed various settlement projects.
Amos Hermon holds degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of South Africa. He served in the IDF in an elite naval unit. A member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency since October 1998, he is the Co- Chairman of the Jewish Zionist Education Committee. In addition, Hermon serves as the Chairman of the WZO Committee on Hasbara and Fight against Anti-Semitism and also Chairs the Agency's Task Force on Anti-Semitism.
