In the Blue and White Religious Seminar held in Brazil, young people from the Bnei Akiva and Netzach Yisrael youth movements in Sao Paulo and Rio, the Mizrachi community  and the Yavne School, all had an opportunity to talk about  Israel.

 
Known for its pro-Zionist attitude and strong connection to Israel , the Brazilian community has imbedded in these young people, products of  religious education, a continuation of that commitment.

In an atmosphere of openness and goodwill, the participants took an active part in aliyah activities and listened intently to Israel lectures and information about student programs, Yeshivot and academic options.  They came for the serious business of discussing their future, with a determined goal towards aliyah. Some were interviewed for programs. None went away empty- handed.

The Seminar was jointly organized by representatives of the Aliyah and Integration Department, the  Education Department, local youth movement representatives and others. 

The success of the event and the mutual cooperation between all the organizations involved, is likely to produce other seminars of this nature.
