A television film crew arrived in order to prepare a promotional film about the Jewish Agency Summer Camps in Sderot and Gaza Perimeter communities.

The crew arrived in Sderot and the Gaza perimeter together with representatives of UIA Canada to prepare a report for representatives abroad. The crew photographed the children of the camp in Sderot on a typical day of activity and interviewed the counselor Ortal Yoseph as well as the camper Menuha Fendel in English.

The children told about the experiences that they had enjoyed during the camp and conveyed their thanks. The children wanted to reinforce the valiant partnership between diaspora Jewry and the children of Sderot, and expressed their hope that tranquility will arrive and we will no longer require the help of a cease-fire.

After having filmed in Sderot the crew moved on to Kfar Maimon in the Sdot Negev Regional Council. The staff photographed and interviewed the children there who were busy taking part in a sports day. They filmed them playing volleyball, performing synchronized walking, and dueling with laser pistols.
