On Thursday, July 17, 2008,  members of  the Campaign Chairs and Directors (CCD) visited the Jewish Agency Beit Canada Absorption Center in Ashdod as part of their Israel tour.

The delegation members listened to a survey about Beit Canada and immigrant absorption at the center from Asher Seyom, Beit Canada's director. They also heard the personal stories of a few new immigrants, including one from Poland and another from Argentina.

Following the meeting, delegation members viewed an immigrant apartment and were impressed by the ongoing renovations work at the absorption center.
