Sderot Summer Camps

July 9, 2008 / 6 Tammuz 5768

There was a lot of activity at the Sderot summer camps. At the "Kiufit" camp children built and flew kites, while at "Afikef” the girls had fun at the swimming pool while the boys were at workshops.

One group was at a Talmud Torah session and two groups were at a junior technology workshop where they learned about electric circuits and assembled a pocket flashlight

Sdot Negev Camps

Children of the Gaza perimeter region, including children from the moshavim of the Sdot Negev Regional Council that are on the confrontation line, participate in a day camp initiated by the Jewish Agency. Te\he camp is located at the local school compound. The children took part in creativity workshops. One group built lampshades for hanging lamps, a second group worked on carpentry, while a third group participated in a magic workshop complete with ropes and animals.
