Dr. Rani Polak finished his MD at the medical school of the Hebrew University He studied cooking at the French culinary school: Le Cordon Bleu.
Dr. Rani Polak integrates between medicine and gastronomy. The first workshop on medical cooking he put together in order to improve the quality of life of Crohn and Colitis disease. For his work in this field he received the prestigious Kay prize from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2005. Dr. Rani Polak has interdisciplinary experience leading workshops in medical cooking for children and adults, patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, heart failure, Crohn and Colitis, celiac disease and to healthy adults and athletes.
He manages the center for medical cooking workshops at the center for quality of life.
