The Jewish Agency for Israel is a partner in "Mibereshit - The Foundation for Jewish Renaissance's" "Parents and Children Learn Mibereshit" program. Over 200,000 children and parents throughout the world study the weekly Mibereshit parsha sheet together, absorbing Jewish/Zionist values in a fun way.

Mibereshit held its annual mega event, the "Aliyada", on Monday, with tens of thousands of participants filling Jerusalem's streets in a colorful march where they presented "Bikurim" - goods for needy people to be distributed by charitable organizations. Rising Israeli pop star Shai Gabsu highlighted the closing event at Gan Sacher.

The theme selected for this year's Aliyada was "saying thank you", and in his greetings to Aliyada participants Jewish Agency Chairman Zeev Bielski expressed his thanks to his mother, ob"m, for her patience and support in helping him through high school as a Jerusalem youngster.
