WUJS is a graduate level Institute of Hebrew and Jewish Studies. Based in Arad, WUJS provides an intensive opportunity to learn Hebrew and encounter Israel and Judaism while mixing with young Jewish graduates from all over the world.
The Partnership 2000 project has created a partnership arrangement between Diaspora Jewish community and an Israeli community. NJ/Delaware is partner to the Arad/Tamar region in the north of the Negev.
To celebrate this partnership, WUJS is now offering an exclusive scholarship of $200 to all applicants from the NJ/Delaware Region in the year 2000. This reduces the tuition for our 7 month program to $2000 during the year 2000 for participants from NJ/Delaware.
The WUJS program includes 7 Months of housing and a meal a day while you engage in our nationally ranked Hebrew Ulpan; Jewish-Israel studies courses taught by a first class academic staff; camping trips visiting the North and South of the country; seminars dealing with contemporary Jewish and Israeli issues; and opportunities for plenty of social and cultural activities.
WUJS provides you access to Israeli society with a 3 week volunteer period and extensive counseling and assistance in finding employment in your profession at the end of the study period.
