The Mount Sdom Bike Race is a cross country event in the most amazing terrain. This area, the Dead Sea, where we know 'Lot's Wife' was turned into a pillar of salt, combines the natural elements of air, water, sun and earth, leaving you with a fantastic exhilarating feeling.
Participants ride along the winding cleft of the Sdom Valley, through the wadi walls that were created by severe flooding over hundreds of years, climb from -400 metres to -160 metres, pass the 'Flour Cave' and along the 'Pratzim River, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful dry river beds in the country. There is no doubt that the views are spectacular and the whole event an extraordinary experience.

The race takes place 100 km south of Jerusalem and about 17 km south of the historic Roman fortress, Massada. A visit to Ein Gedi Spa, the hot sulphur springs, relaxes and rejuvenates and makes the experience a truly memorable one.
