Itai Erely, our shaliach in Cherry Hill, Southern New Jersey, has been busy especially in April.
He cooperated in the Yom HaZikaron ceremony and close to the celebration of Independence Day - Yom HaAtzmaut - he visited a number of schools, armed with an enormous map of Israel, three dimensional pictures, flags and more, and all this for countless activities.
He took the children on an adventurous journey from the Hermon Mountain, through the Sea of Galilee, via Jerusalem to Messada.
From the Dead Sea, all the way through the Negev desert to the Mediterranean, and back up North again.
Is there a better way to get to know the country than walking in (on) it? The closest you can get to the real thing.
Lots of fun and educational as well!
