APPLES AND HONEY CONCERT FOR DISABLED ELDERS

The Beit Shemesh-Adulam "Yad Lamnitnadev" Volunteer Group held its first project this week, an "Apples and Honey Concert" for Disabled Elders. The local Partnership 2000-supported Conservatory sent a group of 14 youth with their wind instruments to brighten up the day for residents at the Beit Haela Geriatric Hospital. "These elderly people are not going to spend the Rosh Hashana festival with their families," says Yad Lamitnadev's Eitan Hevroni, "so we decide to bring them some Rosh Hashana music and flavor". The musical troupe performed for an hour, after which apples with honey were delivered.
