Welcome to "Kesharim", a joint project of the North American Coalition for Israel Education (NACIE) and Partnership 2000 Pittsburgh-Carmiel-Misgav.

Project Elements

• A two year course in Israel education for a select group of teachers in the Pittsburgh community

• A parallel course for a group of teachers in public schools in Carmiel and Misgav

• An educational visit and joint seminar for the two groups in Pittsburgh during Chanukah, 2004

• An intensive Israel seminar for the Pittsburgh teachers in the summer of 2005

All of the above will require the development of materials both for training the teachers and to empower the teachers to teach Israel in their classrooms. This site will post periodic updates on the progress of the project, as well as providing access to relevant resources for participants and anyone else who is interested.
