YAD members (Young Adult Division) are residents from Karmiel and Misgav, who set a target to develop a social framework for young adults and contribute to the community.
The members of Yad joined the children for Purim celebrations.
The Happening was held on the afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 24th, at the Children's Village in Karmiel.
The activities included 20 booths of fun and games, costumes, Purim surprises, D.J., Oznei-Haman and candies. The pouring rain did not bother the celebrations and festive joy. The members of Yad operated the Oznei-Haman booth.
This activity was part of the initiative to volunteer at the Children's Village that started last year. This initiative included Tu-Bishvat activity, "Fun-Shabbat" with fun and games, lectures for village graduates on the issues of drugs, parachutes etc.
In the past few months, YAD has been soliciting donations for the benefit of the youth village and Eshbal youth; contributions include furniture, computers, washing machine and dryer, clothes etc.
The YAD forum that operates through the Jewish Agency's Karmiel-Misgav "Partnership 2000" program has several other activities planned, to contribute to the communities of Karmiel and Misgav.
