In an unprecedented effort, the Jewish Agency together with Office Depot will provide 20,000 children-at-risk, many of them new immigrants, in 1st through 6th grades with the necessary school supplies to "make the grade" during the 2004-5 school year.
Eighteen of the recipients are from Carmiel-Misgav Region.
