Dear Friends,
I am still under the impression of the chain of successful events we spent with our beloved guests from Columbus. It all started with a private dinner held by my husband Zvika and myself at our home for Karen and Neil Moss. (Attended also by Ran Shorer, a Shaliach in Columbus about 30 years ago, and his wife Rachel)
I attach several photos from the evening:

We all had a charming evening, and we were happy to hear from our guests how much they have enjoyed the occasion.
Saturday we have celebrated twice. At the early evening Janine and Dani Gelley kindly invited about fifty people for dinner. Among the guests were members of the stirring committee with their spouses, Deputy Mayor Dr. Booky Chass and his wife, Dr. Mike Levey his wife, Heidi and their four children, Karen and Neil Moss and many more. It was a warm summer evening, and we had a very pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the photos were accidentally erased.
Later we all moved to a local community center, for the opening of the Jewish Lens exhibition. We were joined by the pupils participating in the programs, as well as their parents and more municipality representatives. The artistic work was remarkable. I will forward you some of the artwork separately.
The evening was also the farewell event for Ilan Jarus. The combination of the two occasions was very moving to us all.

Neil and Mike greeting Ilan, presenting him with the wonderful present you all initiated – establishing an award fund for outstanding Aharai students, bearing his name.
I am happy to inform you that all members of the Kfar-Saba stirring committee contributed to this amazing fund.
We are all going to miss Ilan Jarus very much, even though we know Meir Alonim will do a wonderful job.
Best Regards,
Aliza
