Pat Hilborn and Gerald Ford, among the leaders of the Cleveland program, arrived for a visit us and helped us further deepen our knowledge...
Pat and Gerald, each in their own personal style, gave us professional tools for working with children on both an individual and group level.
While they were in Israel, the two visited the Beit Shean antiquities site where they received instructive explanations from Itzik Rachamim, principal of Tomer School; they also visited Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Tiberias, and toured Mt. Gilboa with trustees who live on kibbutzim located on the mountain. To cap things off, all of us gathered at Ein Muda, where we built a bonfire and had an Israeli kumsitz to give our guests a taste (in more ways than one) of the Israeli spirit and the Israeli experience.
At the end of an activity-packed week, Pat and Gerald, moved to tears, left us-and it was hard for us to say goodbye. This was a wonderful experience that left us wanting more...
